I am working on G rich sequences which are currently thought to form quadruplexes in cells in the presence of K+/Na+ in solution. These sequences are basically non-coded regions in the genome thought to have few specific (not fully known) biological role.
Currently I am trying to obtain atomic resolution on the following:
1. Aggregates formed by different telomeic sequences. These are often referred to as G wires.
2. Pearl necklace formed by CEB25 minisatellite.
3. Plasmids in which a G rich sequence has been inserted deliberately.
You can check my supervisor's publications here: http://www3.ntu.edu.sg/home/phantuan/publication.htm
